Once you know how to get there, it's really easy to find. I loved the hot bath. The cafe's breakfast is really nice. I really like the room. Everything was really clean and beautiful. There's also a lift in the accommodation. But there are stairs to the lift. There's a small fridge on every level, shared toilet (SO CLEAN), shared shower (ALSO SO CLEAN). Toothbrush set, Q-tips, shampoo, body soap & conditioner provided. There's even a water dispenser and microwave oven at the shared area. Remember to return your tray after use at the cafe. I totally forgot to (because it's a thing in my home country to just leave the utensils at the table) and only remembered the next day. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, and 2 local supermarkets.

Comfy futon and heavy duvet - luxurious for winter. Yukata is a must for shared toilets and showers. They also provide house slippers. You can book a private hot tub - fits one, for a soak after a long day of walking and shopping. There's a cafe downstairs and a water dispenser on the ground floor. Huge plus- elevator ! Our room was on the 4th floor - and we have heavy luggage from our whole week of travel. We arrived early and we left our luggage there to go around, looking for lunch and window shopping. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, the biggest plus - located just a short walk to Ikebukuro station for many major metro line transfers.

Oh my gosh, this was such a fun stay and a truly interesting experience. Sleeping on the tatami mat floors felt both authentic and comfortable. The staff were SO kind and helpful. Loved the coffee at the Kimi Cafe in the sunken eating area in the morning. Didn't get the chance to try the traditional Japanese bath but must do so on a return visit! The floor's shared showers were very clean and so was the room itself. Cool view from the rooftop. Awesome location in the up-and-coming Ikebukuro area; minutes from delicious food, a 6-story arcade, the subway, and more. Just a great all-around experience and the price was phenomenal.

It is close to Ikebukuro Station, which connects to a lot of lines so there's a lot of option to go out from there. Ikebukuro itself is pretty nice to explore. The room is nice, it's a nice tatami room with a futon, it isn't fancy by any means, but you get to experience living with in a tatami room and futon, it feels very traditional. They clean your room every 3 days, there's a shower and bathroom in every floor. No complaints so far. I haven't had a chance to try their cafe because I always wake up late and never eats breakfast, but from the pictures it looks nice.

Clean, comfortable bedding. Walking distance to train station, convenience stores like Family Mart and 7eleven, and lots of dining options nearby. Although toilet and shower were communal, it still felt private as the property is quiet. Good value for money. We stayed in the room for 3 people and are very happy with it. Coffee downstairs is really good and the natural baked goods are very yummy especially the scones and muffins. This property looks so much better in real life. Photos don't do justice.
